Key Benefits

  • • Synthetic ether-based formulation
  • • Extended shelf life
  • • Odor-free operation
  • • Superior foam stability
  • • Consistent foam quality
  • • Environmentally friendly

Product Overview

A foaming agent is a specialized material that facilitates the formation of stable foam in concrete applications. Our synthetic foaming agent acts as a surfactant that, when present in small amounts, reduces the surface tension of liquid mixtures and increases colloidal stability by inhibiting the coalescence of air bubbles.

Concrete produced in combination with foaming agents is commonly referred to as foamed concrete, reduced density concrete, or lightweight concrete. This material is extensively used in applications such as CLC (Cellular Lightweight Concrete) bricks and other lightweight construction elements.

Our foaming agents are classified as synthetic materials, which are ether-based formulations. Unlike protein-based agents that are byproducts of animals, synthetic foaming agents offer superior performance with extended shelf life and odor-free operation, making them the preferred choice for professional concrete applications.

Foam Generation Process

The foaming process involves the external generation of stable foam that is then incorporated into the concrete slurry mixture. Our synthetic foaming agent creates consistent, stable foam through controlled mechanical action.

Process Steps:

  1. Dilution: Mix foaming agent with water at recommended ratio
  2. Foam Generation: Use foam generator to create stable foam
  3. Quality Check: Verify foam density and stability
  4. Incorporation: Add foam to cement slurry mixture
  5. Mixing: Gentle mixing to maintain foam structure
  6. Placement: Pour and finish lightweight concrete

Usage Guidelines

Dosage & Preparation

Recommended Dosage: 0.5-2.0% by volume of concrete mix

  • Dilute foaming agent with water at 1:30 to 1:50 ratio
  • Use foam generator to create stable foam
  • Check foam density before incorporation
  • Add foam to cement slurry, not vice versa
  • Mix gently to preserve foam structure
  • Place concrete immediately after mixing

Storage & Handling

Storage Temperature: 5°C to 35°C (41°F to 95°F)

  • Store in original sealed containers
  • Protect from freezing and direct sunlight
  • Shelf life: 24 months from manufacture date
  • No refrigeration required
  • Avoid contamination with foreign materials
  • Use appropriate PPE during handling
